The Barco Freya AE is a three chip DLP projector with RGB laser illumination, 4K resolution, full DCI compatibility, choice of high MTF lenses using all glass elements and free rotation for flexible installation.
The Freya AE features true RGB laser that delivers exceptionally high brightness, high contrast, perfect uniformity and the widest possible colour rendition.
The Freya AE offers a high output of up to 7500 lumens which is combined with very high contrast and exceptional colour rendition in excess of the DCI P3 colour space standard required for DCI compatibility.
The Freya AE uses exceptional all glass lenses which deliver very high contrast and sharpness and enables a vertical lens shift of up to 60% – enough for the projector to be mounted above the image area without the need for keystone correction. The lenses available with the projector support a throw range from 1.6-4.7:1. Optional lenses extend this range from 0.92-1.6:1
The Freya AE has been designed to support free rotation vertically and horizontally for complete install flexibility. For the first time an RGB laser DCI compatible projector can support space saving vertical installation.
