BAR-BAL-MR – SINGLE CHIP DLP PROJECTOR WITH LASER PHOSPHOR ILLUMINATION, 4K RESOLUTION AND MR COLOUR WHEEL
The Barco Balder is a single chip DLP projector with powerful laser phosphor illumination, 4K resolution and comes fitted with the Media Room colour wheel and choice of high MTF lenses using all glass elements.
The Balder uses a state of the art laser phosphor light engine that delivers a long life time of up to 60,000 hours, improved brightness uniformity and fast on/off switching.
The Media Room colour wheel fitted to the Balder offers a high output of up to 7000 lumens with balanced colour rendition meeting the Rec709 colour space standard.
The Balder uses exceptional all glass lenses which deliver very high contrast and sharpness and enables a vertical lens shift of up to 88% ‑ enough for the projector to be mounted above the image area without the need for keystone correction. The standard lens supports a throw range of 1.7‑2.5:1 but optional lenses extend the supported range from 0.8‑4.6:1. An ultra short throw lens is also available with a throw range of just 0.3:1.
